Tower rationalises supply for the UK’s most visited theme park

Legoland Windsor is the UK’s most visited theme park. It is also part of Merlin Entertainments, but the benefits of being part of a larger group were not being realised through service, product or cost-in-use. In fact, there were between 6-15 suppliers used for each of the product categories we were tasked with.


Tower was brought in to rationalise Legoland’s suppliers and products, with the goal of controlling spend for PPE, corporate workwear and cleaning/janitorial solutions.

Over a 6-month period (off-season), we visited each department to get a clearer picture of what was needed. We also provided product servicing and created online records.


  • We found out exactly what was required and then recommended products with the correct safety requirements.
  • We also identified further areas for rationalisation – these improvements created a 20% saving.
  • Legoland can now enjoy an enhanced service provided through Tower’s personal account management. They also benefit from online control and measurement.
