Understand + Measure

SGN is a British gas distribution company that supplies 5.9 million homes. Tower was contacted to ensure their 5000 staff could access the workwear they needed, with a focus on high quality products that would help to ensure compliance.

To understand the wearer’s view of the products, we attended PPE and tooling group meetings. This enabled us to employ intelligent decision making when thinking about new product designs.

Control

We implemented our ordering portal, CtrlCloud, which is now helping SGN to manage its costs. The authority levels and ability to manage what users can order is also helping to ensure compliance.

We also put a dedicated account management team in place, who document how the contract is performing.

Improve

• Delivery on-time and in-full is consistently above 97%
• Special measure items are available on short lead times
• Workwear is comfortable to wear and a ‘vast improvement’. It is also fully certified to protect against the hazards their teams experience on a day-to-day basis
