SSE Plc (formerly Scottish & Southern Energy) is a British energy company. They approached Tower with a specific need – to upgrade their specialist workwear to electric arc protection EN61482. The catch? No products existed to meet this standard.
We worked with SSE safety managers and fibre and fabric manufacturers to produce a bespoke product – the first of its kind.
After extensive trials, the product range was agreed and submitted to the commercial department. Staff were given online training with customer-specific catalogues and face to face visits.
