I reflect on a very successful CLIA Cruise Week in Rotterdam and look at how Tower's innovative approach to cruise solutions is driving progress in the industry.

As always, CLIA Cruise Week 2025 was a fantastic opportunity to have meaningful discussions with industry leaders. I also saw it as a chance to showcase and speak about innovation. But not just product innovation but partnership innovation. This is how to really drive continuous improvement as a trusted supplier partner: by engaging with cruise lines intimately to proactively seek and develop solutions that make them more efficient, productive, safer, and sustainable.

Embracing innovation

At Tower Supplies, we are committed to developing solutions that enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and crew productivity. During CLIA Cruise Week, we introduced several game-changing products that have the potential to transform cruise operations:

  • CBN+: Our ultimate onboard cleaning solution, including installation and training, designed for housekeeping, galley/bar, and laundry. This eco-friendly and highly effective cleaning system is tailored to meet the unique demands of the cruise industry.
  • Body Scanning: A forward-thinking solution for crew onboarding and uniform stores, ensuring right first-time uniform provision aligned to crew roles. This technology streamlines the uniform fitting process, improving accuracy and reducing waste.
  • Custom-Made Insoles: A machine that creates custom-made insoles for shoes to correct foot misalignment and enhance crew wellbeing and productivity. This innovative solution addresses a critical aspect of crew health and comfort, ultimately boosting performance.

Strategic discussions and continuous improvement

One of the highlights of the event was the opportunity to attend workshops and engage in strategic discussions with cruise lines. These conversations focused on delivering continuous improvement to total-cost-of-ownership in partnership with leading cruise lines. By collaborating closely with our partners, we can identify areas for improvement and implement solutions that drive efficiency and sustainability.

Presenting at CLIA Cruise Week

Finally, I spoke at the event, presenting my "Supplier Spotlight—Hospitality." The Carnival Corporation, NCLH, and Royal Caribbean Group CPOs in the audience had questions about TCO, and you may have, too. So, let’s talk about it!
