We are pleased to announce that P&O ships are now trialling a transition from our original starch-based 790 product to the new Laundry Restorer 790. This new formulation is designed to restore whiteness and improve linen quality, especially in challenging water conditions.
This solution arose from the Arvia reporting high iron content in the water had caused widespread linen damage. The CBN+ Team therefore developed a product to perform reliably even in difficult environments, and a fleet-wide rollout is planned.
Following strong feedback, Ambassador Renaissance has requested two additional floor cleaning units with which to use our highly effective galley floor cleaner. These machines are designed to reduce refill frequency, whilst also eliminating the need to transport chemicals between areas.
This update will improve health and safety and support cleaner working environments for crew and passengers. A win-win result for CBN+ and Ambassador Cruise Line!
New US regulations under the CDC's Vessel Sanitation Program require updates to laundry programme temperatures and cycle durations. Our team is working to ensure compliance ahead of upcoming sailings, aligning systems with both EU and US standards.
Installation of our CBN system began aboard Queen Elizabeth in Seattle on 28 August. This marks our first US-based deployment and our second project with Cunard. Our Customer Onboarding Manager Irina is leading preparations for this important milestone as CBN expands globally.
