I’m delighted to share an important milestone for Tower Supplies. We recently confirmed our membership with the Slave‑Free Alliance (SFA)!
The SFA (owned by the anti‑slavery charity Hope for Justice) is a leading social enterprise that helps organisations identify, prevent, and eradicate modern slavery and labour exploitation within their operations and supply chains. That means that becoming a member is a big step in our commitment to responsible sourcing and ethical business practices.
It may surprise some people that modern slavery STILL remains a real and persistent risk in global supply chains. This is especially the case in the textile and garment sectors. I know how easily exploitation can hide in complex supply chains, and it’s one of the reasons I’m determined Tower stay ahead of it.
And as a business that supplies workwear, PPE, and technical products to organisations across world, we have a responsibility to ensure the goods are sourced ethically, transparently and with respect for human rights.
Over the past couple of years, I have worked with our Category Management Team to strengthen our due‑diligence processes, enhance supplier engagement, and improve the way we assess risk across complex supply chains.
This is something I feel personally responsible for, and it’s a commitment I’ve pushed hard to strengthen across Tower. Joining Slave‑Free Alliance builds on that work and gives us access to specialist support that will help Tower even more.

Our partnership with Slave‑Free Alliance provides several important reassurances:
All this means that our customers can trust that Tower is taking proactive, measurable steps to ensure our supply chain is as ethical, transparent, and responsible as possible.

There are some key support lines that the partnership also provides:
Integrity has always been a Tower core value, which makes this partnership even more important to us. By joining Slave‑Free Alliance, we are reinforcing our long‑term commitment to protecting vulnerable workers, upholding human rights, and ensuring our customers can rely on us as a responsible, trustworthy partner. I’m genuinely proud of the progress we’ve made, but I’m even more motivated by the work still ahead of us!
