This European Standard is applicable to standard threads for respiratory protective devices. This standard describes the different connection types between the PPE and filters in regard to the masks.
EN 148-1 - RESPIRATORY PROTECTIVE DEVICES - THREADS FOR FACEPIECES - PART 1: STANDARD THREAD CONNECTION
This standard describes the different connection types between the PPE and filters in regards to the masks. The most common standard is EN 148-1 which is described by thread Rd40 x 1/7”. This standard does not apply to diving equipment and to positive pressure breathing apparatus.
