This applies to lifejackets used by adults and children; lifejackets that have a buoyancy of no less than 275 N for the average adult; lifejackets that are intended for use offshore, in extreme conditions, and in combination with heavy protective clothing; and those that are worn alongside bulky loads (e.g., tool belts).
