The demand for EV is growing. Global sales of electric vehicles (EVs) grew by nearly 50% to over 6 million (Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV) and Plug-in Hybrids (PHEV)) during the first half of 2023. And this growth won’t slow down. With the sale of new petrol and diesel cars to end by 2035, by 2040 global sales are predicted to be around 73 million, with EVs making up 60% of vehicles on the road.
