ISO9001:2015 - The quality management standard
ISO9001 is the world’s most recognised Quality Management (QMS) standard. Its aim is to assist Tower to meet the needs of our customers and other stakeholders, more effectively. Tower have achieved this certification by building a framework to ensure consistent quality in providing goods and services. The most current version, ISO 9001:2015 was adopted to address fulfilling regulatory requirements and customer satisfaction through continuous improvement of the quality management system.
Our ISO9001 certification provides objective proof to our staff, stakeholders, customers, and the outside world that customer satisfaction is at the core of our business.
ISO14001:2015 - The environmental standard
ISO 14001:2015 specifies the requirements for an environmental management system (EMS) to allow Tower, as an organisation enhances our environmental performance. It is becoming more and more important to demonstrate that as a business, we are thinking about the environmental impact and putting in place systems that will not only benefit the environment but will also reduce costs and improve efficiency within the organisation.
The benefits of showing conformance to the ISO14001 standard are numerous, however here are a few:
ISO45001:2018 - International Standard for the management of occupational health and safety.
As you may or may not know, ISO45001:2018 is the new global standard for occupational health and safety, issued to protect employees and visitors from work-related accidents and diseases. The ISO45001 certification was developed to mitigate any factors that may cause employees and businesses irreparable harm. By having implemented the most current occupational health and safety standard, Tower is recognised as an elite category of business, and internationally recognised.
Every day, thousands of lives are lost due to work accidents or fatal diseases linked to work activities. These are serious accidents or fatalities that could and should have been prevented and must be in the future. ISO45001 aims to help Tower do just that. In addition, it is a level of excellence that is acknowledged worldwide and sets us apart from our competitors. It creates an organisation built around best practice. This is then mirrored across the business and sets a standard for managing risks. With Tower having a strong, consistent health & safety management system, means that the organisation is more efficient across the board. ISO45001:2018 assists Tower in demonstrating compliance with health and safety law and in some respects, it goes beyond what the law requires.
MHRA Phase I Accreditation
This is a voluntary scheme for organisations conducting phase one trials. The aim of the scheme is to make sure trials (particularly FIH trials) are as safe as possible. ‘Organisations in the scheme must exceed the basic regulatory good clinical practice standards by having additional procedures that include the highest standards for avoiding harm to trial subjects and for handling any medical emergencies.'
We’re a trusted member of the Professional Clothing Industry Associates worldwide (PCIAW). Tower also regularly appear in their magazine PCIAW Voice.

To conclude, the above ISO accreditations are supported by risks assessments, policies, procedures, visually displayed safety communication through signage, etc. Having these most important processes in place demonstrates competence as a company and provides clear guidelines to our employees on how Tower operates. It also lays out all professional practices and processes for our customers to see, giving them a better view of our organisation. Policies and procedures show that Tower is in control and stable, providing assurance to both staff, our valued customers, and stakeholders.
